These foxes dug the hedge up (I had put fishmeal in for the roots) and once replanted without feed, they still dug in the soft soil around them and the cubs were damanging it whilst playing on my lawn. I was able to buy three \"sheets\" of 3mm welded wire mesh 50x50mm guage that I was able to cut to size using a pair of \u00a35.99 7\" bolt cutters. I then joined the \"panels\" to form a \"cage\" using plastic ties. Erno in customer services was very helpful when I emailed enquirying what was availble, hoping to buy \"ready cut\" (not available 50x50mm RSPCA advise is for \"fox mesh\" to be at least 45x45mm smallest ready-cut size is 75x75mm). Erno explained clearly how it could be done, worked out what best to supply with least wastage, provided an acturate quote and offered to take an order over the phone if I was unable to complete an order online (which I was able to do without problem). Very pleased with the customer service and the wire mesh provided, promptly delivered and left were requested. The solution was to raise all the fences, hence the considerable number of mesh panels I've bought from Wire Fence. I'm very happy with being able to get the sizes I want and that they are so easy to put up, and now he doesn't get over the fences. Probably not what you were expecting!\nWe used them as plinths to present work for an exhibition entitled Echoes of Presence in the beautiful chapel at Brompton Cemetery in London.\nWe used them because they look very light and almost disappear which suited the location as well as being strong enough to support heavy glass and ceramic sculptures. It runs between myself and a neighbour at the back of my garage, shed and sunhouse and is largely unseen by myself or my neighbour. I utilised the old posts and attached the chain link fence to 3 stretched wires along the 10 metre length without any problems. They answer the phones and can answer questions and give advice. Ordered some economy 25mm mesh on a Friday and it was delivered on the Tuesday. Great price as well. I'm not an expert on galvanised wire mesh, but it seems to be good quality; it arrived well wrapped, the mesh is a consistent size and feels plenty strong enough to keep our cats in. There was one small section where the wire hadn't welded properly, but I was able to arrange my cuts around the hole. Cuts easily using a decent pair of 6\" diagonal cutters. I ordered 30m X 90cm and was able to move the roll and lay it out on my own, but it's easier with two people. Make sure you wear gloves when handling and some safety glasses when snipping any short pieces.
