Customer Reviews

{"254514":{"comment_content":"After searching the internet I stumbled across Wire fence. I did a little research and saw some amazing reviews. Still a little sceptical as I think good reviews are AI generated, I decided to go ahead with the purchase. \r\n I'm so pleased that I did. I spoke on the phone first to double check the mesh I wanted was in stock. I then placed the order Friday afternoon and was told it would be dispatched Monday and delivered Tuesday. I rang Monday to add a roll to the order which was no problem for them. \r\n The wire was good quantity. And was excellent for what we needed to keep stoats away from the chickens. \r\n My only criticism is the delivery, no tracking as sent, no delivery firm got in touch. No wire Tuesday even though I paid the extra for the quicker delivery. I rang Wednesday and Eron was very apologetic and looked up the eta for the Wednesday. It did arrive Wednesday. I think the delivery firm were having driver issues! \r\n I do recommend this company and I would definitely use them again.","rating":"5","comment_author":"Sue Somers","comment_date":"2026-10-12 14:31:59","other_images":[{"full_size":"https:\/\/www.wirefence.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/IMG_3940.jpeg","thumbnail_size":"https:\/\/www.wirefence.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/IMG_3940-150x150.jpeg"},{"full_size":"https:\/\/www.wirefence.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/IMG_3942.jpeg","thumbnail_size":"https:\/\/www.wirefence.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/IMG_3942-150x150.jpeg"}]},"253630":{"comment_content":"Great product strong and easy to put together. With a volume of 30m2 that would have been two lorries of stone to fill a like-for-like replacement. We wanted to be green and avoid new aggregate as well as wanting to keep the planter design, so we have recycled drive paving bricks, collected from nine different households ... all for free! This gave us ~4,000 bricks, different depths and colours, but by using the 'bottom' face as the visable side I think they work perfectly!\r\nMaking the double-brick walls using separater panels, tying the inner and outer walls together, cutting bricks, adding cross-panels, lining the inner walls, digging out and levelling the site, collecting the donated bricks 300 at a time means this isn't a weekend job .... I estimate ~40 man-days, over the first four heat waves in the SE!\r\nTo allow existing raised patio to remain we had to fit existing gaps so ordered custom gabions from WireFence as well as numerous 2m x 2m wire mesh sheets for the bespoke separator and cross-panels panels. Ordering and speedy delivery was much appreciated.\r\nWe have no hesitation in recommending WireFence .. their gabions have supported an all-in project cost of \u00a32,300.","rating":"5","comment_author":"Neil Brooks","comment_date":"2026-08-11 17:22:04","other_images":[{"full_size":"https:\/\/www.wirefence.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/1000051489.jpg","thumbnail_size":"https:\/\/www.wirefence.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/1000051489-150x150.jpg"},{"full_size":"https:\/\/www.wirefence.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/1000051486.jpg","thumbnail_size":"https:\/\/www.wirefence.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/1000051486-150x150.jpg"},{"full_size":"https:\/\/www.wirefence.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/b0d10dc8-4e0d-43f4-b4e9-ebdd17520022-1_all_6628.jpg","thumbnail_size":"https:\/\/www.wirefence.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/b0d10dc8-4e0d-43f4-b4e9-ebdd17520022-1_all_6628-150x150.jpg"},{"full_size":"https:\/\/www.wirefence.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/1000051487.jpg","thumbnail_size":"https:\/\/www.wirefence.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/1000051487-150x150.jpg"},{"full_size":"https:\/\/www.wirefence.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/1000051490.jpg","thumbnail_size":"https:\/\/www.wirefence.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/1000051490-150x150.jpg"},{"full_size":"https:\/\/www.wirefence.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/1000051493.jpg","thumbnail_size":"https:\/\/www.wirefence.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/1000051493-150x150.jpg"}]},"243981":{"comment_content":"I have installed the gabions as per my order, and they look great with the limestone. I was able to buy three \"sheets\" of 3mm welded wire mesh 50x50mm guage that I was able to cut to size using a pair of \u00a35.99 7\" bolt cutters. I then joined the \"panels\" to form a \"cage\" using plastic ties. Erno explained clearly how it could be done, worked out what best to supply with least wastage, provided an acturate quote and offered to take an order over the phone if I was unable to complete an order online (which I was able to do without problem). The quality of the Wire Security Fencing supplied is amazing and we are sure will last us for many years to come. The company gave the charity an incredible discount as well! Thank you as this really does make such a difference to the dogs in our care.","rating":"5","comment_author":"Lizzy Brown","comment_date":"2024-09-19 08:22:07","other_images":[{"full_size":"https:\/\/www.wirefence.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Review-3.jpg","thumbnail_size":"https:\/\/www.wirefence.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Review-3-150x150.jpg"},{"full_size":"https:\/\/www.wirefence.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/IMG-20240913-WA0016.jpg","thumbnail_size":"https:\/\/www.wirefence.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/IMG-20240913-WA0016-150x150.jpg"},{"full_size":"https:\/\/www.wirefence.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/IMG-20240913-WA0014.jpg","thumbnail_size":"https:\/\/www.wirefence.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/IMG-20240913-WA0014-150x150.jpg"},{"full_size":"https:\/\/www.wirefence.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/IMG-20240913-WA0011.jpg","thumbnail_size":"https:\/\/www.wirefence.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/IMG-20240913-WA0011-150x150.jpg"},{"full_size":"https:\/\/www.wirefence.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/IMG-20240913-WA0010.jpg","thumbnail_size":"https:\/\/www.wirefence.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/IMG-20240913-WA0010-150x150.jpg"},{"full_size":"https:\/\/www.wirefence.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/IMG-20240913-WA0004.jpg","thumbnail_size":"https:\/\/www.wirefence.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/IMG-20240913-WA0004-150x150.jpg"}]},"172348":{"comment_content":"Green plastic coated chain link fence was priced competitively and delivered in good time. Bundled very concisely which meant the metal bands did go ping somewhat when cut. The fencing seems very good quality. Ordered some economy 25mm mesh on a Friday and it was delivered on the Tuesday. Great price as well. I'm not an expert on galvanised wire mesh, but it seems to be good quality; it arrived well wrapped, the mesh is a consistent size and feels plenty strong enough to keep our cats in. There was one small section where the wire hadn't welded properly, but I was able to arrange my cuts around the hole. Cuts easily using a decent pair of 6\" diagonal cutters. I ordered 30m X 90cm and was able to move the roll and lay it out on my own, but it's easier with two people. Make sure you wear gloves when handling and some safety glasses when snipping any short pieces. I've got about 10m left so I'll be using it to make some window screens for the summer so we can keep the cats safe and let some fresh air in.","rating":"5","comment_author":"Paul","comment_date":"2023-05-10 15:35:12","other_images":[{"full_size":"https:\/\/www.wirefence.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/IMG20230510142103.jpg","thumbnail_size":"https:\/\/www.wirefence.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/IMG20230510142103-150x150.jpg"}]},"124923":{"comment_content":"Very pleased with the 14 Gabions and service received. We wanted a temporary solution enabling us to access the woodland to the rear of the garden.\r\nAs can be seen from the photos, there is a drop from the garden gate to the woodland floor so we thought building steps may be the answer.\r\nWe just happened to see the gardening program fronted by Alan Titchmarsh that featured gabion baskets built by Wire Fence Ltd and we thought \"Yes! This is the answer\". It tidies up a lot of the loose bricks AND we get a set of steps from it! \r\nWe ordered 4 custom-sized baskets, filled them with the loose bricks, and topped them with decking boards.\r\nThanks to the Wire Fence team for their correspondence and advice and speedy delivery.","rating":"5","comment_author":"Paul King","comment_date":"2021-09-30 15:18:48","other_images":[{"full_size":"https:\/\/www.wirefence.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/IMG_1940c.jpg","thumbnail_size":"https:\/\/www.wirefence.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/IMG_1940c-150x150.jpg"}]},"82555":{"comment_content":"Don't usually muck about with photos, but you have put me in a good mood.\r\nHere's a photo of what I'm on with...","rating":"5","comment_author":"Ed","comment_date":"2021-09-18 10:22:26","other_images":[{"full_size":"https:\/\/www.wirefence.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/IMAG0066-rotated.jpg","thumbnail_size":"https:\/\/www.wirefence.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/IMAG0066-150x150.jpg"}]},"80698":{"comment_content":"Great product, easy to put together, very attractive finished result","rating":"5","comment_author":"Katie","comment_date":"2021-08-16 16:53:27","other_images":[{"full_size":"https:\/\/www.wirefence.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/PXL_20210815_160321418-scaled.jpg","thumbnail_size":"https:\/\/www.wirefence.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/PXL_20210815_160321418-150x150.jpg"}]},"79792":{"comment_content":"Great to buy to from, good prices fast delivery. \r\nWould recommend and would buy from again. \r\nWe used to do our whole garden and then an additional dog run.","rating":"5","comment_author":"Adam Bolus","comment_date":"2021-08-02 13:29:12","other_images":[{"full_size":"https:\/\/www.wirefence.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/IMG-20210801-WA0009.jpg","thumbnail_size":"https:\/\/www.wirefence.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/IMG-20210801-WA0009-150x150.jpg"}]},"79537":{"comment_content":"Great wire cover, ideal for a small pond to stop the heron from getting at my fish","rating":"4","comment_author":"Nichola Beeney","comment_date":"2021-07-29 11:46:20","other_images":[{"full_size":"https:\/\/www.wirefence.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/image-scaled.jpg","thumbnail_size":"https:\/\/www.wirefence.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/image-150x150.jpg"}]},"79208":{"comment_content":"Amazing customer service, ordered from them four our little community project to make seating space and they have dealt with all my requests very nicely.
