Case Study Summary

This project, created by Gavin, demonstrates how gabion baskets can be used to build much more than retaining walls or fencing. The gabion baskets have been used to build a bespoke water feature, raised beds and planters, creating a cohesive design while adding a more dynamic feel to the garden. Filled with natural slate, the gabion structures provide a strong, low-maintenance solution with an exceptionally long lifespan, while complementing the surrounding planting, pond and decor.
