Project Background

This residential garden required a retaining solution to manage the change in ground levels while creating a safe and appealing boundary around the property. The design also needed to accommodate a timber fence for additional privacy.

Solution

Gabion baskets were chosen to create a strong, long-lasting retaining wall that complements the property’s outdoor space. The natural stone finish pairs well with the timber fencing, creating a practical boundary.

Installation Process

The retaining wall was constructed using gabions stacked side by side and filled with limestone. A timber fence was installed along the top of the wall.
