International Rabbit Day – Supporting UK Rabbit Rescues

We’re inviting rabbit rescues and charities across the UK to join our International Rabbit Day charity giveaway.

What is International Rabbit Day?

International Rabbit Day is a day dedicated to celebrating rabbits and raising awareness of their welfare and the care they need. It’s also a chance to recognise the incredible work of rabbit rescues and charities that provide abandoned and unwanted rabbits with food, veterinary care, safe shelter and, hopefully, loving forever homes.

This year, we wanted to use the occasion to do something a little extra for the people working tirelessly to help them.

Supporters & Sponsors

We’ve brought together a wonderful group of businesses and supporters who have kindly donated to help us create a special prize pot for a rabbit rescue.

We’ve started the prize pot with a £100 donation from WireFence, and we’re adding all the generous contributions from our sponsors and supporters to it. Once the giveaway closes, the entire prize pot will go to the winning rabbit rescue or charity.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has joined us and helped make this possible!

Prize Pot

Here’s what the winning rabbit rescue or charity will receive:

• WireFence – £100 donation
• Small Pet Select – 10 lb box of 2nd Cutting Timothy Hay
• Buttercup Pet Products – Water bottle, holder and hay rack set

Rules

To take part, your organisation simply needs to:

1. Be a UK-based rabbit rescue, charity or organisation supporting rabbit welfare. You do not need to be a registered charity to take part.
2. Share the official WireFence International Rabbit Day Facebook post on your organisation’s Facebook page.
3. Encourage your supporters, friends and followers to like your shared post.
4. The participating charity or rescue whose shared post receives the most likes by 26 September will win the entire prize pot.

Extra: Link to the Campaign from Your Website!
We know that not every charity has the same number of followers, so we want to give everyone a fair chance.
Every participating charity or rescue that adds a link to this campaign article from its website will receive a 100-like bonus, added to the number of likes on their Facebook post.

So, share the post, tell your supporters, and ask your friends, family and followers to get involved. The more people who see and support the campaign, the more we can do for rabbit rescues this International Rabbit Day!
