Step 1 – Mark Area

Create a straight line to serve as the fence between the two posts situated at either end.

Step 2 – Measure Post Distance

Utilize a tape measure to accurately designate the placements of the posts, maintaining a distance of 2 to 3 meters between them.

Enhance stability by minimizing the gap between your fence posts.

Step 3 – Install End Posts

Utilize a post driver or mallet to firmly embed the end posts 50cm into the ground.

Make certain that the holes of the posts face each other to ensure consistent alignment.

Step 4 – Check for Same Height

Fasten a length of string between the end posts, then confirm their equal height by using a tape measure.

Step 5 – Check for Straightness

Employ a spirit level to verify that the posts are installed perfectly straight.

Step 6 – Set in Concrete (Optional)

For increased durability and security of the fence, position your posts in concrete by digging a 50cm hole and pouring cement for the post to settle into.

Step 7 – Install Middle Posts

To install middle posts, repeat steps 3 through 5.

Ensure that the posts are aligned in the same direction and are installed both straight and at equal heights.

You can reinforce the middle posts with concrete for extra strength if desired.

Step 8 – Install Tension Wire (Optional)

When dealing with lightweight mesh, contemplate attaching a tension wire between the end posts to forestall any potential sagging.

Encircle the tension wire around the hole of the end posts and fasten it by twisting the wire end with pliers.

Step 9 – Attach Mesh to End Post

Secure the mesh to the end post by fastening cable ties, threading them through the pre-drilled holes in the post.

To reinforce the attachment, consider adding extra cable ties around the entire post.

Step 10 – Pull Tight

Pull the mesh tightly and then secure it to the second post using cable ties, ensuring not to pull excessively tight.

Repeat this process until you reach the end post.

Step 11 – Attach to Tension Wire (Optional)

If you have installed a tension wire, utilize cable ties to fasten the mesh to it, spacing them approximately 30-45 cm apart.

Step 1 – Mark the Post Location

Mark the positions of the posts with a spacing of 2-2.5 meters between each one.

Step 2 – Dig Holes

Dig a hole to accommodate your post. The depth of the hole should be approximately one-third of the post’s height.

Employ a spirit level to ensure that the posts are perfectly straight.

Step 3 – Cement Posts In (Optional)

Fill the holes with concrete, then insert your posts into the concrete.

Use a spirit level to verify that the posts are straight.

Step 4 – Dig a Trench

Dig a trench along your fence line for the netting, making sure it is 30cm deep.

Step 5 – Install Tensioning Wire (Optional)

For a sturdy and secure fence, use tensioning wire in multiple rows, including at least one row at the top and one at the bottom.

Step 6 – Attach Mesh to End Post

Obtain enough netting to cover the distance between the first two posts.

Secure the mesh with staples or cable ties at intervals of every 15cm, leaving an extra 15cm at the bottom, facing outward.

Step 7 – Bend the Mesh

Create a 90-degree angle fold at the bottom of the mesh, forming a 15cm lip.

This flap will hide the bottom of the trench on the outside of your fence.

Step 8 – Attach Mesh to Posts

Continue securing the remaining portion of the mesh by repeating steps 6 and 7 consistently.

Step 9 – Attach to Tension Wire (Optional)

If you used tensioning wire, attach it to the fencing at multiple points to help maintain the tension of the fence.

Step 10 – Secure the Flap

Anchor the flap to the ground using pegs.

Staple the flap at the 90-degree angle and also at the outer edge of the lip. Repeat this process every 60cm along the length of the fence.

Step 11 – Cover the Trench

Cover the outer flap with 5cm of soil or mulch to conceal it.

Optional: Add a layer of concrete into the trench to enhance security against digging.
