STAPLES – To Do | Explanation |
Step 1 – Position the Staples
Select the spots on the wooden posts where you intend to affix the staples. If you’re employing the staples to fasten wire or fencing, guarantee they are evenly distributed and positioned at the correct height. |
Step 2 – Start Hammering
Grasp the hammer with your alternate hand and align it directly over the staple. Make sure to target the center of the staple when delivering your hammer blows. |
Step 3 – Check the Staple
Following the hammering, examine the staple to confirm its firm attachment to the wooden post. If it appears loose or inadequately driven in, utilize the hammer to make any required adjustments. |
PEGS – To Do | Explanation |
Step 1 – Position the Pegs
Determine the locations for the pegs and place them accordingly. Ensure they are evenly spaced and properly aligned, particularly if you’re installing multiple pegs. |
Step 2 – Start Hammering
Begin by striking the top of the peg with the hammer. Focus your aim towards the center of the peg to evenly distribute force. Initiate with gentle taps to initiate the peg’s insertion into the ground. |
Step 3 – Check the Pegs
After placing all the pegs, evaluate their stability by gently pulling or pushing on them. They should be firmly anchored in the ground, displaying minimal movement. |
